Sarah Hendler is a Los Angeles-based fine jewelry designer and curator. Sarah named two of her collections after her grandmothers, Shirley and Ethel. The Shirley 'spear' collection represents her ahead of the trends grandmother Shirley "with its retro/vintage feel with a modern edginess." The Ethel 'starburst ball' collection honors her grandmother Ethel, who loved a big cocktail ring! Sarah's version has "elements of Victorian jewelry (burnished stars in gemstones and diamonds) but with a new, bold scale and surprising enamel touches."
